I’m so glad the work week at school is behind us. I have to admit that it was one of the most challenging ones. Lots of scheduling issues, meetings, and just general feelings of worry/overwhelmingness!
I have only 2 more days until the Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon in Virginia Beach. I’m nervously excited for it, and I’m super worried about parking, finding my pace, finishing, basically all of the above. I know I’ve put in the training for it, but I really really want to have a feel-good race. I can usually tell within the first 5 to 10 minutes if it’s going to be a fun run or one where I just have to push through the uncomfortableness. My stomach has been super crazy with all the the back to school stress , so we’ll see.

Scheduling gym time. I’m looking forward to getting back on a regular gym routine. I’ve been taking it easy this week and not been lifting too much. Really all summer has been more of a break on the front while I’ve focused on running.
Beach time. We’re hoping to have sunny weather on actual Labor Day, so we can hit the beach one last time.
PSLs – I’m so excited to have the first PSL of the fall season. I actually went through SBUX drive-thru today due to my water bottle spontaneously combusting in my cup holder. I got a delicious iced passion tea since it was pretty warm, but I did see the sign for PSLs!!! Yum yum!
