Our Normal November

November is a notoriously (another “n” adjective for you!) busy month for us.  This is the big kick-off of hunting season for the Mr. although he does gradually ease into with an October bow season.  I certainly don’t begrudge the man his hobby, but it does make everything just that much busier.  With that being said, we are so blessed to be busy doing fun things!  Family photo session was so much fun, and the pictures were awesome!  It is so nice to take the time and focus on who we are as a family.  Here’s a few from the talented Donna Good.

Didn’t she do a fabulous job?!?!?  Here is her website, and I would highly recommend her for your family pictures needs.  We picked a mixed color scheme, and I think it really came together nicely without being too matchy-matchy.  Here is my family photography Pinterest board if you’d like to see other ideas.  In other news, we are preparing for a trip to see one of my best, good friends in Chestertown, Maryland this upcoming weekend.  Thank goodness it is a long weekend due to the Veterans’ Day holiday on Monday.  Living in a military city/region means we always have this day off from school.

With all this fun, the Mr. is making up for missed time by working super hard at his day job.  We paid him a visit one night this week and bribed him to come and play for a bit with a chicken salad sandwich.

I love being able to do things that.  Doing special, simple things really can bring a lot of joy not only to the person on the receiving end but also on the giving.  All this cost me, H, and Roscoe was a bit of time to package up dinner and a ride to “Dada’s work.”  ❤  Try to show the ones you care about how you feel.  A little extra effort on your part can do so much to make someone’s day.  And yours as well!
